Hydrangeas– Alcohol Ink Workshop
Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 2-4pm

Fantastic colors, texture and movement - you get it all with alcohol ink!
Alcohol Ink is a fun medium to paint with, but be warned its lots of fun (and frustrating) but addictive! You’ll learn to manipulate the inks and play with color and texture as you complete your own masterpieces. Reference photos are provided for each class, but feel free to bring your own inspirational photo in a similar subject.
This class is for students 16 years old and over. Class Fee is $40 for Members ($50 for Non-members) plus a Materials fee of $10. Materials and supplies provided by the instructor. Students should wear their “painting clothes” or bring an apron, as alcohol inks can be messy and they stain! Minimum to hold class: 4 Maximum: 12. Please sign up and pay fees by July 12th

Jewelry Workshop – Leather Wrap Bracelet
Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM
Instructor: Diane Milner
A great beginner class. Students will create a double strand bracelet featuring Czech glass seed beads, a Pewter button, and leather cord. The class will focus on using the proper tools for jewelry making, how and where to obtain components, and skills to create a well-executed and secure closure. Suitable for young bead enthusiasts and a great summer project for young beaders. Also a good project for home schooled students. Inquire about group rates and private class. Student Age Level: 10 years through adult. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Class Fee: $40 (Non-members will pay an additional $10.00 per class) plus Materials Fee: $18 All materials and tools will be purchased and provided by the instructor. The costs for obtaining the materials will be listed as a separate fee and paid 1 week prior to class.

You will learn basic techniques of color mixing, brushwork and more, all suited to the featured painting. Build on skills learned in each class. Instructor supplied materials include brushes, paint and canvas.
Class Fee is $75 for Members ($85 for Non-members) plus a Materials fee of $25.
Register by July 28, 2025 to reserve a seat in this class.

Jewelry Workshop – Antique a Shell & Bead a Chain with 2-hole Beads
Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM
Instructor: Diane Milner
An advanced beginner class. Students will select a shell and use antiquing paints, stains, and fixatives to embellish the piece with color. Instruction will include how to create a hanging device to use as a focal bead. Next students will create a single strand chain using Czech two-hole glass beads and seed beads. Explore several different patterns. Learn how to attach a clasp and focal bead. This class will focus on using the proper tools, where to obtain materials, skills to create a well-executed closure, and how to attach the chain to a focal bead. Students will also explore different application techniques, stain/paint combinations, and the use of UV light to fix the colors. This project is executed at a fast pace. Students who have taken previous workshops will have no trouble completing the project in the allotted time.
Ability Level: Advanced Beginner. Student Age Level: 10 years through adult. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Class Fee: $45 (Non-members $55) plus Materials Fee: $18 All materials and tools will be purchased and provided by the instructor.
