Turn your sketchbook into a Travel Art Journal. Beginner to veteran journallers can transform your adventures into your favorite souvenir. My tips and tricks will help you to capture memories on the go. We will work in your sketchbooks! *Please bring a sketchbook and anything you use to draw. Intro to Stained Glass: The Copper Foil Method

Instructor: Heidi Wurm

Intro to Stained Glass: Copper Foil Method will teach basic fundamentals of the copper foil method. This technique involves cutting glass, wrapping each piece with an adhesive-backed copper foil tape, and soldering the pieces together to create stained glass panels, suncatchers, boxes, lamps, and more. Students will meet for two, three-hour sessions and complete a suncatcher. All supplies and tools for use during class will be provided.  Instructional Fee: $90 for members ($100 non-members), plus Materials Fee: $30. Enrollment limited to 4 students, ages 18 or older. Beginner Introduction to Watercolor

Instructor: Alexis Jones

Interested in learning about watercolor? Then this class is for you! The class will cover everything from basic color mixing to different watercolor techniques.  Don't know what hot and cold press means? What layering and wet into wet processes are? After this class you'll understand all the "lingo"!  The materials fee will provide each student with paper, paints and brushes so you can continue learning outside of the classroom. No experience is needed. Ages 13 years and up. Class Fee is $75 for Members ($85 for Non-members) plus a Materials fee of $25. Register by March 5, 2025 to reserve a seat in this class. Learn to paint with acrylics on canvas with three consecutive 2-hour sessions.  No Experience Necessary! You will learn basic techniques of color mixing, brushwork and more, all suited to the featured painting. Build on skills learned in each class. Learn to paint on location in the fresh air.  Painting on site, learn how to set up to paint and capture the fleeting light effects. This class is for students 16 years old and over with some familiarity painting in the medium of their choice.  Class Fee is $35 for Members ($45 for Non-members).
