Needle Felting - “Wooley Wicked Witch”

Make a scary witch for your Halloween decorations using only a needle and wool! This fun class is for beginner to intermediate felters ages 14 and up.  NO STRESS! Instructor will supply you and guide you step by step. Class fee is $35 for members ($45 non-members) plus $15 for all supplies including needle and wool. Please sign up by October 17, 2023

Youth Art Class “Yarn Pumpkins and Suncatcher”
 
Plan to get sticky with lots of glue with Sandy Waters as we create yarn pumpkins and beautiful suncatchers to mark the fall season.  These beautiful creations are fun to make and will last for years to come. $25 members, $35 non-members, plus $5 materials fee
Classes require a minimum of 3 students to be held, maximum of 10. Space is limited so sign up early to reserve your seat! Bring an apron or dress to get messy.  Ages 6 and up. Introduction to Acrylics 
 
Instructor: Athena A. Rhodes
 
Learn to paint with acrylics on canvas with three consecutive 2-hour sessions.  No Experience Necessary! Learn the basics or continue adding to your knowledge of acrylic painting. This class is for beginning/intermediate students 16 years old and over. Please register by October 22nd.  Class Fee is $75 for Members, $85 for Non-members plus a Materials fee of $25.  All paint, canvas and brushes supplied by instructor. Instructor will provide a color photo reference for students to paint from in class.

Youth Art Class “Create-a-Bowl!”
 
Using colorful scraps of fabric, students will layer pieces to create a sculptural masterpiece using their imaginations and learning a little bit about color compliments in their design.  Join instructor Sandy Waters to build these unique pieces that will be ready to use as a breadbasket on Thanksgiving! $25 members, $35 non-members, plus $5 materials fee. Students will learn about Cubism and the artist, Pablo Picasso with instructor Diane Greenhalgh. Students will choose from a variety of colorful items (paper, cardboard, paint, material scraps, buttons, etc.) to create their own quirky masterpieces! $25 members, $35 non-members, plus $5 materials fee.
